Thank you for visiting SpringHouse! I’m Linda Huseby and one of the co-founders. I have been supporting employees as a Human Resources professional for over 15 years. I love being able to provide a unique and enjoyable work experience for employees. My favorite thing about HR is being able to make life a little easier for specialists by being available to answer questions or just a listening ear. When not working I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three kids as well as our mini Aussie, Buoy and our cat Loki. I like to be outdoors exploring the Pacific Northwest, traveling, and finding my next favorite place to eat. If you have a favorite trail, destination or restaurant I’d love to hear about it!

My professional journey before starting SpringHouse included providing HR support to organizations and their employees, often as an HR Dept of one. I have worked in higher education at Clackamas Community College and Oregon State University and Pre-K- 12 at Portland Jewish Academy. My time at Albertina Kerr Centers gave me the opportunity to work for a non-profit organization. I was part of the leadership team at The Hello Foundation and served as the HR Director.

I enjoy exploring the Pacific Northwest with my family and friends. Sometimes this is a hike in the wilderness or an urban “hike” to a new restaurant. In the cooler winter months I can be found with a good book or trying out a new recipe.

… took a small plane to Guatemala and the engine died as we were landing! The trip did get better, as I got to watch the sunrise over a pyramid on my 25th birthday while I was there!
